How do you decide what to cover?

When deciding what to cover I always make sure that it is a company, product or event that I would be proud to stand behind. I also make sure that it is relevant to my clients, readers and subscribers. If it’s not something that I support or would use myself I will not cover it. I want my clients, readers and subscribers to know, like and trust me.

How does social media factor into your work?

Social media is largely a part of how I get business, clients and interact with potential clients. Most of my business is done through social media and online. Without it I wouldn’t be where I am today.

What does a typical day look like for you?

My days are always different. I usually wake up and try to post something inspirational/motivational/educational across my social media platforms. I check my email for client emails (they come first) and then I respond to any work related emails that are in need of immediate reply. I then walk my dog. I head out for my morning cardio fasted and come home and then eat, answer more emails before getting to work on content. I usually work on client programs and content in the early afternoon before heading back to the gym for my own workout and to train my clients. In the evenings every few days I will work on YouTube edits as that is something I am trying to do more of, then content and more client programs. By 10pm I try to shut everything off and spend quality time with my boyfriend and my dog relaxing, until bed around midnight.

What kind of relationships do you have with brands, PR and marketing professionals?

I have great relationships with many different brands and have worked numerous campaigns, shot commercials and have continuing working relationships with many. I also have great working relationships with PR and marketing professionals that work a lot within the health and fitness world.

What’s your number one tip for PR people?

My number one tip for PR people is to look at someone’s experience before coming to them with an offer for something. Try not to undervalue someone’s worth.
